Message Israel simply lacked understanding of who God is, hence they only did good if they were told to...funny! The most miserable individuals on earth are those living dual lives to please others. Anytime you decide not to be the real you; out of the fear of what critics will say, you deny God access to accomplish His will in you. Like majority of God's people (Israel), most of us today are developing our relationship with God on human approvals instead of God's will. You need to know that pretense is one thing you cannot be consistent with; it does not matter how long it takes, you'll be found out one day.
