ARE GHANAIAN LEADERS LAZY OR WICKED?

PART ONE (1)

I have lived in wonder for sometime now anytime a walk pass an abandoned edifies or a mismanaged state owned asset.

Take a walk around the Accra sports stadium, Oninku Drive JHS, UDS Navrongo just to mention but a few, and you’ll be amazed how these facilities are kept with a high level of apathy.

 

The Leaders put in-charge to ensure these facilities are well managed have occupied space without causing any effective change; these facilities have been denied simple things like painting, tidy surroundings or any form of maintenance you can mention.

So it begs the question “Are Ghanaian leaders lazy or simply wicked?”

Individuals will do all it takes to assume various positions within their reach, but in the end fail to discharge the responsibilities of those positions.

What is happening to this nation?

We have specialized in gossip and criticism. But have left our responsibilities unattended to.

The countries we admire did not attain those heights by being lay-back or lazy; those great feats were attained through dedication to duty and individual who were willing to challenge the status quo without thinking of personal benefits, to the destinies of those countries into their hands.

If we long to see a Ghana full of hope and security, let us change our lazy and wicked attitude of going for positions we are not ready to sacrifice ourselves to make impact.
